1. Villa Caribe
Villa Caribe is the largest hotel in town and offers the best views from its rooms. If you are looking for comfort when staying in Livingston, this is the ideal hotel for you. It has a private beach, a swimming pool for adults and one for children, a bar and a restaurant. Its location is excellent – it is in the center of Livingston but also close to the seashore.

2. Casa de la Iguana
Situated amidst the greenery of Livingston, Casa de la Iguana has a quiet atmosphere, making it a perfect place to enjoy nature without being too far from town. It offers both private rooms and shared dormitories. The hotel is owned and run by a local family and their passion for it shows. The staff provides friendly and fast service that makes you want to come back soon. During the high season, December to May, there is live Garifuna music in the bar on weekends.

3. Casa Nostra
Casa Nostra is a cozy hotel that you won’t want to leave anytime soon. With the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the facilities, the delicious food, and the sweetness of their pets, you will feel right at home. The rooms are spacious, with balconies overlooking the sea. Moreover, the restaurant at Casa Nostra is renowned for having the best pizza in Livingston. To top it all off, the two-level dock offers spectacular views of the sunset over the sea.

La Casa Rosada is the backpacker’s hotel in which to stay in Livingston, Guatemala. It has a great atmosphere and its colorful decorations have the perfect Caribbean touch. The common areas are ideal for meeting other guests or reading quietly. The hotel has direct access to the sea from its dock. The hammocks are great for sunbathing. Bicycles can be rented to explore the area. There are both private rooms and shared dormitories.

5. Salvador Gaviota
Salvador Gaviota has the perfect location for those that want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town. The beach is just a few steps away from the common areas of the hotel. It is a family-friendly hotel with spacious and rustic-style cabins. It is situated right in front of Quehueche Beach, which is 3.5 kilometers (2.2 miles) from the center of Livingston. To get to Salvador Gaviota, take a tuk-tuk from downtown Livingston for 5 GTQ (0.60 USD) to drop you off at Puente Quehueche. Then cross the foot bridge and after about 100 meters (300 feet), you will reach the hotel.
